Semaglutide and tirzepatide work. The weight comes off. What most people aren't told is that without strength training and enough protein, a real share of that weight is muscle. Carbon Engines builds the training around your treatment so you finish stronger, not only smaller.
Your body can't burn only fat. In a steep calorie deficit it takes from muscle too. The scale only tells you how much came off. The scans tell you what. In the body-composition studies from the big GLP-1 trials (STEP 1, semaglutide; SURMOUNT-1, tirzepatide), roughly a quarter to more than a third of the weight people lost was lean mass, not fat, when they weren’t following a strength program.
Muscle is what keeps your metabolism up and your bones loaded, and it decides how you look and feel when the scale stops moving. Lose it, and you often end up with less energy and a harder time keeping the weight off, especially if treatment pauses.
This is training and nutrition coaching. It isn't medical care, and it works alongside whatever your prescriber has you doing.
Tell me where you are in your treatment and what you want to look and feel like at the end of it. I read every application myself and reply within one business day. Nothing is paid until we've talked and you've seen your plan outline.
