ONLINE COACHING — MEN REBUILDING THEIR EDGE

The engine's still in there.

After thirty, a man who doesn't train loses somewhere between three and eight percent of his muscle every decade, and most of it goes quietly. You feel it as a stiff morning, a wall at two in the afternoon, a belt notch. It also happens to be one of the most reversible things in human physiology, at forty, at fifty, at seventy. That's the whole business here.

What changes, and why it works.

Not a template, and not more willpower. Three things that actually move the needle.

1

Measured first: body composition, how you move, how much work you can do. Muscle is the organ that keeps men out of nursing homes, and the first job is measuring how much of it you have.

2

Someone adjusting the plan as you go, so a bad week gets fixed instead of becoming a bad month.

3

Sessions sized for an adult life. Forty-five to sixty minutes, three or four times a week, reverses most of a decade of decline if the sessions are built right. Two-hour workouts don't survive a busy week and don't need to.

01

It didn't happen at once, and it won't reverse at once.

The belt notch, the stairs, the mirror. None of it was a single event. Muscle went first, then the aerobic engine, then the sleep, and each one made the next easier to lose. That is also the order it comes back in.

A

The reflection you stopped looking at. Fat around the middle isn't only cosmetic. Visceral fat is metabolically active and pushes blood sugar and blood pressure the wrong way. It's also the first thing to move once you start.

B

Winded on your own stairs. Aerobic capacity drops roughly ten percent a decade in men who don't train, and it's one of the strongest predictors of lifespan anyone has measured. It's also one of the most trainable.

C

The drive is still in there. Most men I work with don't have a motivation problem. They have a system problem. That's fixable.

02

Who you'd be working with.

I'm Grayson Wescott.

Twelve years coaching one-on-one, in a practice built entirely on referrals. No ads. Carbon Engines is that same coaching, adapted for men who want it delivered online.

I'm not interested in generic programming. I'm interested in the man who used to have it, lost it somewhere between work and family and the years going by, and has decided that isn't permanent. I read the longevity research the way some people read box scores, and I've spent a decade watching which parts of it hold up in real bodies.

03

One way in.

One-on-one with Grayson, one flat rate. No group calls, no tiers, no upsells.

04

How It Works

04

COACHING BEGINS

You train, and the plan changes when you stall, travel or get hurt. Someone notices if you go dark.

05

Two men, twelve months, InBody scans.

Two different starting points, one rule: lose the fat, keep the muscle. After forty that's the whole game.

−50.5 lb of fat

Kept 98% of his muscle. A 42-year-old business owner.

−31 lb of fat

Kept 98% of his muscle. A 58-year-old executive.

In plain English: almost everything they lost was fat. Most diets take a big chunk of muscle with it, which is why people end up smaller but softer and weaker. Both men were measured on an InBody scanner, not a bathroom scale. Full numbers below.

The High-Performance Dad — 42, Business Owner

BEFORE → AFTER
WEIGHT224.0 → 176.5 LB (−47.5)
BODY FAT %32.0% → 12.0% (−20.0 PTS)
SKELETAL MUSCLE MASS78.0 → 76.5 LB (−1.5)
BMI32.1 → 25.3 (−6.8)

"I kept telling myself being busy was why I couldn't get in shape. What actually changed wasn't motivation — it was having a system. The scans gave me something objective to track instead of obsessing over the scale."

EYAL, 42

The 58-Year-Old Executive

BEFORE → AFTER
WEIGHT198.0 → 171.5 LB (−26.5)
BODY FAT %29.5% → 16.0% (−13.5 PTS)
SKELETAL MUSCLE MASS72.0 → 70.5 LB (−1.5)
BMI29.2 → 25.3 (−3.9)

"I honestly thought getting leaner and stronger at 58 was going to require living in the gym and eating nothing but chicken and broccoli. What I learned was that consistency mattered much more than extremes. The InBody numbers were motivating because I could see the objective wasn't simply to become lighter — I wanted to lose fat while holding on to muscle. That changed how I looked at the entire process."

WILL, 58

06

In their words.

"Grayson takes a personal interest in all aspects of fitness: training, physiology, and mental. As a 73 year old, I have never looked or felt better. This has been a tremendous investment in my life."

Straight answers.

The questions people ask before they apply.

How does billing and cancelling work?

Billed monthly. Cancel anytime before your next charge. No fee, no contract, and you keep access through the month you've paid for.

I'm over 40, or I have old injuries. Is this safe for me?

Every program starts from an assessment of how you move today, with a swap for any lift that bothers you. This is training, not medical care. If something is currently injured, check with your doctor first, and I'll work within what they advise.

I'm on a GLP-1. Can I do this?

Yes. The training and protein plan are built around your treatment. I don't prescribe or manage medication. That stays with your prescriber. More on training while on a GLP-1.

Do I need to be in San Antonio?

No. Coaching runs online from any gym. In San Antonio, you can also get an InBody scan at many local stores and send it to me for a free review.

How does the price compare to other coaching?

App-only programs run about $15–70 a month and app-based coaching companies about $100–200. One-on-one with a named expert usually runs $235–650 or more. What online coaching should cost, and include.

You don't need a new personality. You need the engine back.
