Online coaching runs from $15 a month for an app to over $600 a month for one-on-one with a named expert. Here's what each level really includes, the red flags to watch for, and how to tell if it's worth it for you.
Prices we found on public pages in October 2026. They vary a lot, so treat these as ranges.
| Type | Typical monthly cost | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| App-only programs | $15–70 | A program in an app. Little or no one watching. |
| App-based coaching companies | $100–200 | A coach inside an app, often with many clients each. |
| Named expert, one-on-one | $235–650+ | Programming and check-ins from the expert you applied to. |
| In-person training, 3x a week | often $500–1,200+ | Sessions in person. Commonly quoted at $40–100+ per session. |
| Carbon Engines | $600 | One-on-one with Grayson, online or in San Antonio. |
The information is free. What you're paying for is someone who watches your lifts, changes the plan when you stall, and keeps you honest when life gets busy. If you already train consistently and progress on a free program, you probably don't need a coach. If you've started and stopped before, or you're over 40, injured, or losing weight fast on a GLP-1, that's where coaching earns its price.
Tell me where you're starting and what you want to change. I read every application myself and reply within one business day. Nothing is paid until we've talked and you've seen your plan outline.
I'll reply within one business day to set up your free fit-check call.
